Some of you may have notices that the end of May has come and gone and your reading lists haven't been flooded with the annual announcements about The Femslash Kinkmeme. Don't worry! We haven't forgotten about it!

This year, due to personal circumstances (*cough*only_stars studying in Prague for a month lucky girl*cough*), we're postponing the start of the Kinkmeme until sometime in mid-July. No, we don't have an exact date yet, but femslash_today generally does a 4th of July porn battle, so it will most likely be after that.

For now, if anyone has any questions or suggestions for how we can make this kinkmeme better, you can post them here. As always, anonymous commenting is on. Hopefully by tomorrow my regular internet will be too (damned thunderstorms).

The Third Annual Femslash Kink Meme will kick off mid-summer (probably a little later this year than last), so until then, here's a mini meme just in time for Carnival/Mardi Gras!

For a little extra fun this Mini Meme will focus on prompts from Texts From Last Night! Just remember, it's a kink meme, so put your kink in parentheses after the text!prompt (see examples below)

Wow! There are some absolutely amazing prompts thus far, and there are some great responses! We're working on a masterlist of prompts according to fandom, but it's taking a little time because there are so many.

Because the response has been so overwhelming this year, we're closing prompting at Midnight tomorrow EST (roughly 24 hours from now).

This does not mean that comments will be closed. The meme is open until June 20th, so that means you've got the next three weeks to concentrate on filling the multitude of prompts!
